Founder’s Day Celebration 2013 – Photography Competition: “Celebrations in Action”

Dear Brother and Sister Scouts,

World Scout’s Day is just around the corner! As part of the celebration, we invite all
members from all sections to participate in the Photography Competition: “Celebrations in
Action!” to share with one and all, on how you celebrate the special day as an individual, or
as a unit.

This is how you may participate:
1. Choose your best photos (maximum of 5 photos per person) that showcase how you
celebrate Founder’s Day. All entries to include a short write up for each photo (not more
than 50 words).
2. Email* these photos to steadfast.tampines@gmail.com.
3. Once your photo is accepted, your photo will appear on Tampines District FaceBook.
(For Cubs, the Akelas will inform you of your participation).
4. Get your friends to “Like” the photo. The most number of “Likes” will win a $50 voucher.
5. Contest period from 15th – 28th February 2013.
6. You will be notify of the official results by 9th March 2013

* By participating in the event, the participants are to be made understood that all photos
will be taken as property of the Singapore Scout Association and the photos will be used for
internal publications if necessary. However, commercial or other uses of the photos are not
allowed.
