God gave you everything you need!

To all my fellow children and teenagers(Ok Ok you've grown up);

Remember just a couple of years ago, the struggles of our scout group ?

Remember how we almost got closed down because we were getting in so few sec 1s each year ?

Remember how many have chosen to quit on us and left us to the dumps ?

Remember how most people in our school made fun of our scarves and our uniform and said we can't make it ?

Remember how we had only 2 options ? To die off as a scout group or to fight back and fulfill our destiny.

Well it was you my children who made our Scout Group who we are now.

It was you that made our CCA the first choice CCA in our school for the last 3 years.

It was you that made more than 25 Sec 1's join us every year.

It was you that won the Silver award for National Patrol Camp Competition.

It was you that brought the scout unit and the venture unit a gold Frank Cooper Sands Award.

It was you that made everyone clap for us when we perform our Samba Percussion in SYF.

It was you that made our CCA win the Top CCA achievement award in our school.

It was you that made us win the Floorball and Basketball tournaments of the Sports Carnival.

It was you that made our scout group achieve 2 Chief Commisioner's Award holders.

It was also because of you that I have received my Woodbadge and the Chief Scout Commendation Medal.

It was you who chose to make do with what we have and make do even better ......



It was you........

And to those who gave up on us. We were better without you.....
