There will be no more study groups as we want you to prepare for your examinations.
Scout meeting will resume after exams so CHECK THE BLOG REGULARY.
Last but not least, study hard for your examinations, and expect more exciting scout activities once the the exams are over!
PS: You are required to photocopy your result slip and pass it to us. We will inform you of the details after your exams.

Tampines Scout of the Year Award 2009

Dear Brother Scouts,

I'm pleased to announce that our SPL Martin Lim is awarded and recognized as the Tampines Scout of the Year 2009, 2nd Runner-up.

This award recognizes Scouts in the Scout Section of Tampines District that have put in the extra effort and extra miles as an outstanding scout in the Unit. He was selected by a panel of Judges from his: Interview, Scouting knowledge, Leadership, School's Academic Performance,Scouting Experience and many more....

Holiday Updates!!!

ALOHA BROTHER SCOUTS!

Here are the updates of the upcoming events of our unit. PLEASE TAKE EXTRA NOTES ON THESE EVENTS.

1. FIRST CLASS STANDARD HIKE

Date: 09 - 10 September 2009
Reporting Venue: East Spring Secondary School
Time: 0800 hrs

(Jeremy, Please check with Alexis or Martin of what to prepare and expect on the reporting day of the hike.)

2. SANA Course

Date: 11 September 2009, Friday

For those who are involve in this course, please contact Alexis on the reporting time and venue.

3. Percussion Training (Scouts)

Session 1:
Date: 10 September 2009, Thursday
Time: 9am - 6.30pm

Session 2:
Date: 11 September 2009, Friday
Time: 6pm - 8pm

(Mr Khan will confirm the list of scouts involve in this)

4. Pioneering Course (Test)

Date: 12 September 2009, Saturday

Those who are involve should know the time. (:

Also please be informed that after the September Holidays ends, you are still required to come for Scout Meeting on every Wednesday and Friday.

Even though the School have suspended all CCA due to End of year examinations, all Scout Meeting will be converted to Study Group.

Hence, these are the timing for the Study Group:

Every Wednesday,
Time: 2.30pm to 6pm

Every Friday,
Time: 3pm to 6pm

Attendance will still be taken during this period.

The ventures have volunteer themselves to coach you all with your studies. (ALL subjects covered! A Maths, E Maths, Geo, Social Studies etc etc. BUT STRICTLY NO 2nd Language. hahaha...)

Should you feel that you do not wish to attend this Study Group and think that you can study better at home, kindly get your parents to write a letter to excuse you from this Study Group.
